Bath-to-shower conversion with enclosed tray and stone-effect tiles

Bath-to-Shower Conversions

Removing a bath and installing a walk-in shower is one of the most practical upgrades we fit: it frees up floor space, gives the room a fresh, modern feel and makes daily use easier for the whole household. Customers who make the change tell us they'd never go back.

A typical conversion involves stripping out the old bath, moving the waste and water supply to the new position, fitting the tray, tanking and waterproofing the walls, tiling to your chosen finish and installing the enclosure, valve, controls and screen.

We'll talk the layout and the options through before work starts, and because one team does the plumbing, preparation, tiling and fitting, there are no separate trades to coordinate. Most conversions are completed within a week.

FAQs

How long does a shower room installation take?
Most bath-to-shower conversions are completed within a week. A full shower room build can take slightly longer depending on the size of the room and the amount of tiling and preparation involved. We'll confirm a realistic programme with your quotation and keep you updated throughout.
Can you replace my bath with a shower?
Yes — it's one of the most common jobs we carry out. We handle the whole conversion: strip-out of the bath, moving the plumbing and waste, fitting the tray, tanking, tiling and installing the enclosure and controls, as described in our Bath-to-Shower Conversions section above.
Can I supply my own shower tray, enclosure and controls?
Absolutely. Under our installation-only option we'll fit the products you've bought, checking everything before we start and flagging any potential fitting issues so the installation is safe and to a high standard.
Do you complete tiling?
Yes. Wall and floor tiling is included in our shower room installations, and we also carry out tiling projects on their own. We prepare the surfaces, tank wet areas and tile to a neat, professional finish using your chosen tiles.
Do you arrange electrical work?
Where electrical work is needed — such as wiring for extractor fans, lighting or shaver points — it is completed by an appropriately qualified electrician as part of the project.
Do you provide free quotations?
Yes. We provide free, no-obligation quotations across Martham, Norfolk, and East Norfolk including Great Yarmouth, usually after an initial home survey. Call 07711 714 756 or use the contact page to arrange yours.
